This connector is used to join an SMA female socket to an N female socket. If you recall, most cell phone external antenna ports are SMA female meaning this particular connector is useful as it can easily connect a building amplifier or building antenna directly to your cell phone. While a set-up of an amplifier and antenna is most powerful, using one to directly connect would still give a nice added boost. Recall that every wireless building amplifier except for the Wilson 801247 kit, Wilson 801262 and Wilson 841262 kit use the N-female connector. The yagi antennas Wilson 301111, Wilson 301124, Wilson 301129, Wilson 301142, and Wilson 304411 use the N-female connector. Other exterior antennas that use this connector include Wilson 301157 and Wilson 301132 magnet mount antenna. Interior antennas that use this connector are Wilson 301121, Wilson 301123, Wilson 301134, Wilson 301135.
