Motorola A855 Droid Accessories – www.cell-phone-accessories.com

Motorola and Verizon Wireless came out firing last summer with the iDont but DroidDoes campaign against the Apple iPhone 3GS. While Apple is currently (based on sales) champion of the smartphone market right now, this phone does have reason to be considered a worthy competitor. While it is somewhat bulky in weight, it does have a full pull out QWERTY keyboard (while being about the same in thickness to the Apple iPhone) as well as a similar virtual keyboard. It also has a larger screen with better resolution. One thing the Apple does support is multi-touch throughout the phone, while this one does not (it does have the double tap zoom and the European version, the Motorola Milestone, does support multi-touch). However, there is the Dolphin browser available in the Android app store which does support multi-touch for that browser only. It also offers a removable battery and MicroSD card support, which Apple does not. The Droid does runs on the faster and larger Verizon network which is a huge plus.

This phone runs on the very fast growing Android operating system which, compared to the iPhone, hasmore features including multitasking,  Google maps with voice turn by turn directions, as well as having a more advanced capability to accept voice commands, and better syncing with computers (using your Google account). While Apple’s operating system has better multimedia features and a bigger application store (though Android’s app store is growing very fast however, and variations of apps that most people use are already available), Android’s operating system is clearly a better choice for any business professional (due to multitasking, ease of syncing, office support, built in GPS). Android will also be getting Adobe Flash 10.0 later this year, while Apple will not. This will make the internet browsing feature superior (both currently offer great non-flash internet browsing experience already, but with flash, internet browsing would be a true internet browsing experience).

With a great phone, it only makes sense for you to buy some great accessories. Cell-phone-accessories has a very wide range available at amazingly low prices.
