And this phone falls in that category and does not disappoint. The design of this phone is very similar to the Pantech Impact. It has a slim candy bar look on the outside (though there are some key differences, such as the Pantech having a full touch keypad and a monochrome display while this has a hard keypad with a color external display) and can be popped open (a laptop style opening) to use the full QWERTY keyboard with a color screen. The feature set on this phone is similar to the Pantech, but overall better. Infact, the only messaging phone which has a feature set greater than this one is the LG enV Touch. This feature set offers a 3.0MP camera/camcorder, EV-DO support (Verizon’s very good 3.5G network), a full HTML browser (with RSS feed support), corporate and personal e-mail, instant messaging, social networking, SMS, MMS, V-Cast video, VZ Navigator GPS, a large address book, Bluetooth, voice recorder, easy file transfer, USB mass storage, visual voice mail and much more. The color screens are fairly bright, the call quality is excellent, it is just overall a great messaging phone.
