The cable I will discuss in this post is similar to the the 2′ Wilson 952302 and 10′ Wilson 952310 which were both variations of the WILSON 400 (equivalent to LMR-400 and also referred to as 9913) cables, only this one is 20′ long. If you do not recall, these cables have two N-Male ends and are of an ultra low loss. The loss on this cable despite being 20′ long is less than 1dB (this is approximately 23.1% of a power/signal loss). Keep in mind that these Wilson Electronics amplifiers are incredibly powerful so this loss may seem large, but the boost your phone/data card signal will receive will still be tremendous despite this. Included are connectors with this cable (N-Female to FME connectors, one being male and the other being female).
There are many products which use the N-female connector, including almost all wireless in-building amplifier set ups. In fact, the only wireless building amplifiers that do not use the N-connector are the Wilson 801247 kit, Wilson 801262 and Wilson 841262 kit. All others do. Also, there are many antennas which use the N-female connector. The exterior antennas that do are the Wilson 301111, Wilson 301124, Wilson 301129,Wilson 301142, and Wilson 304411, Wilson 301157 and Wilson 301132 magnet mount antenna (which already includes a 10′ coaxial so this cable can serve as a backup, replacement or extension). As well as the following interior antennas: Wilson 301121, Wilson 301123, Wilson 301134, Wilson 301135. This same cable is also included in the Wilson 841365 kit, so it can serve as a replacement or backup for that.
Having FME connectors can allow you to connect any antenna (which uses the N connector or FME connector) to your phone directly using the Wilson Cell Phone Antenna Adapter or to any amplifier (which uses the N connector or FME connector). Amplifiers that use the FME-male connector (using the FME-female end) include direct connection amplifiers Wilson 811101, Wilson 811201, Wilson 812201,Wilson 811210 (which include the kits Wilson 811211 , Wilson 811214, and Wilson 811215), Wilson 814004, Wilson 814021, Wilson 811710and Wilson 811901. As well as mobile wireless amplifiers Wilson 801101, Wilson 804002, and Wilson 801245 (including the Wilson 841245 kit). There are antennas that can work with the FME-Female connector (use the FME-male end) which include every mobile antenna except for Wilson 301125, Wilson 301126,Wilson 301128, Wilson 301148, and Wilson 301149. And includes the in-building antennas Wilson 301106, Wilson 301147, Wilson 301202, and Wilson 301208.
My next few posts will discuss more of these types of cables available so stay tuned. You can check out the Wilson 952320 here.
