The next three mounts this cell-phone-accessories blog will be discussing are mounts designed for the Wilson 301101 and Wilson 301133 trucker antennas. If you recall, these antennas do not require a ground plane but are designed for antenna mounts that fit the 3/8″ 24 threaded base. Wilson Electronics offers three mounts that fit this profile with this being the first one.
This mount is the same one included with the Wilson 841233 RV kit and Wilson 841295 Ambulance kit. My cousin owns the Wilson 841233 and loves the mount which is included because he was able to easily mount it onto the ladder rack of his RV. This mount is a three way mount meaning it is possible to mount the antenna onto it horizontally (in either direction) or vertically (in one direction). This mount has a 5mm chrome plated aluminium and all hardware required to make the mount work is included. It can easily be mounted onto your RV (as mentioned above), a horizontal mirror bracket, or the edge of your roof.
Either of the above mentioned antennas are ideal for a vehicle such as a large truck such as an 18-wheeler, dump truck, bus, RV, van, big SUV, etcetera. Or even a home or building in which a ground plane is unable to be installed.
