If you or planning on purchasing have a vehicle amplifier which uses a magnet mount antenna and you intend on using it at a building setting, then this product is something you should look into. Basically it is a metal surface with a diameter of 3.5″ to allow you to place your magnet mount antenna onto. The Wilson Electronics magnet mount antennas offered are Wilson 301103, Wilson 301113, Wilson 301126, Wilson 301128, Wilson 301131, and Wilson 301132. If you intend to use your magnet mount antenna in a building setting, then I recommend you purchase either this ground plane or the Wilson 901128 (which I will discuss in a future post. This is a window mount which uses suction cups. If you do not need a window mount, then the product I am describing in this blog post makes most sense for you).
