Unlike the other two wireless dual-band mobile amplifiers I have discussed on previous blogs, the Wilson 801230 and the Wilson 801201 is more compact, it is the only amplifier to feature a built in antenna, it also gives you multiple power options (car cigarette lighter, USB and AC) and it is ideal for laptop data cards. It is very compact, and can be very easily transferred between your car, your house and your office. Making it the perfect product for any professional who is constantly on the go. Included with this product is the amplifier, a USB power cable and a power cable which can plug into your car cigarette lighter. This amplifier requires an external antenna. If you do not have one and are interested in purchasing this product, my next few blogs will discuss packages which include them in order to save you money. So stay tuned. This is the amplifier I purchased and I have been thrilled at how well it has been working for me. I did not purchase it with a kit because I already owned the Wilson 301103 12.25″ magnet mount antenna. I purchased the Wilson 971119 FME Male to SMA Male connector in order to get it to work.
