Sometime last week I posted a blog on the Wilson 841233 RV kit. I spoke about how my cousin discovered this kit to amplify the signal for his cell phone from his RV which he vacations on with his family. If you recall, this RV kit included the Wilson 301133 antenna, but the antenna did not include everything required to set it up. I personally would recommend purchasing the Wilson 841233 kit on itself as it would be the ideal way to get the best signal while saving you money but if you are looking to make a direct connection to the antenna with your phone or already own your own amplifier, then this antenna kit would be the smartest purchase. The kit includes the antenna and everything required to mount it. If you have not read the post about the Wilson 301133, the antenna is dual band and 21.5″ tall. It has a spring is able to take on high impact conditions (such as RV/truck driving and heavy winds), has an FME connector (which can be connected to most phones using a phone-specific Wilson Cell Phone Antenna Adapter) and includes a 10.5′ coaxial cable. This antenna has a built in ground plane, it can be mounted onto any surface; it also fits the standard 3/8″ x 24 threaded mount. The mount included with the antenna is the Wilson 901104, the 3-way standard spade mount, which has 5mm chrome-plated aluminum and can be placed onto any surface. All hardware required for the mount is included; therefore all equipment required for the antenna to be set up is included (as mentioned above).
