Please read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101 in order to learn more about the uses of an antenna. This antenna is exactly like the Wilson 301127 but instead of supporting the 800MHz and 1900MHz, it is able to support the 806-960 MHz & 1700-2300 MHz. Meaning this antenna is able to support the rare 1700MHz 3G frequency. This antenna is ideal for usage with the Wilson 811210 and Wilson 801201 amplifiers. Like the Wilson 301127, this amplifier can act as an exterior antenna in the mobile setting and an interior antenna in a building setting. It uses a 3M adhesive for mounting onto glass and uses to a 10′ FME coaxial cable (included). When used as an exterior antenna, it must be centered vertically onto the front or rear windshield (avoiding any defrosting lines). When used as an interior antenna, it can be either vertical or horizontal in the area in which signal is lowest, it also must be at least 7′ above ground and approximately 40′ away from the exterior antenna for a 50dB amplifier and 75′ away from the exterior antenna for a 65dB amplifier. In either setting, it must be at least 6″ away from any metal object. I recommend testing the antenna before pasting it as 3M adhesive is very strong. This antenna will be a decent exterior antenna or a very strong interior antenna. Check out the Wilson 301143.
