Please read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101 in order to learn more about the uses of an antenna. It is a 4.18″ tall antenna which mounts onto any metal surface with a diameter of at least 3.5″. It mounts onto metal using rare earth magnet, a magnet strong enough to keep its mount through crazy situations (such as bad weather or freeway driving) while being easy for you to move/remove. It can be mounted on to the top of your vehicle, or the top of your roof, using sheet metal (however, it is designed especially for vehicles). So if you have a vehicle in which a white antenna would suit it better than a black antenna, then this option is the best one for you. It can make your vehicle look better while improving the strength of the cell phone signal inside the vehicle. It uses an FME connector so it can connect to many amplifiers (look through my previous blog posts in order to find amplifiers, most of them have specifications listed which mention as to whether or not it would fit an FME connector), or can be directly connected to your phone using a phone-specific Wilson Cell Phone Antenna Adapter.
