Wilson 301125 Dual Band Magnet Mount Antenna w/ SMA Male Connector & 10′ Coaxial- www.cell-phone-accessories.com

If you read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101, you can learn more about the uses of an antenna. So far, all of the antennas I have written up about have been ones that have had an FME female connector. This antenna is the first, which uses an SMA male connector. This antenna is similar to the Wilson 301103 in the sense that it is a 12.25″ magnet mount antenna using rare earth magnet. It differs in the sense that it has an SMA connection instead of an FME connection. My next blog post will discuss an SMA antenna similar to the Wilson 301113, which is the smaller version of the Wilson 301103. Like the Wilson 301103, this antenna includes everything required for it to work (including the 10′ coaxial cable), it requires a sheet metal plate of a diameter of at least 4″ to be placed onto and is magnetic and easy to install/move/remove while remaining firmly in place due to the power of rare earth magnet. The biggest advantage of an SMA port is the fact that most amplifiers do use SMA and most phones external antenna port are SMA female, so the SMA male connector can easily do a direct connection without purchase of a phone-specific Wilson Cell Phone Antenna Adapter. This is the antenna I should have purchased, but at the time I had purchased my amplifier, I already owned the Wilson 301103. It would be a wise choice to purchase this antenna, so check out the Wilson 301125.
