Please read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101 in order to learn more about the uses of an antenna. You may recall my blog about the Wilson 301102 which was a 15″ antenna that mounts on to glass. This antenna is similar to that but much smaller/sleeker. Like the Wilson 301113, it is designed for people who do not like the concept of a large antenna on top of their vehicles. And similar to the Wilson 301102, it can mount on to glass permanently using a 3M adhesive on the built in ground plane. It is not designed for RVs and designed for the front or rear windshields of vehicles (preferably the rear for SUVs and trucks), it is also recommend to try and avoid placing on defogger lines, required to not place on aftermarket metallic tint and is not able to be used on dual panel windows for homes. This antenna is 5.38″ tall and is North American dual-band (including being able to work with the iDEN networks). It also has an FME female connector (you can look through my previous cell phone accessories blog posts in order to view the specifications for amplifiers which use FME, you can also purchase a connector which can convert SMA to FME but the purchase of an SMA antenna is recommended for an SMA amplifier.
