Please read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101 in order to learn more about the uses of an antenna. If you recall my blog post on the Wilson 301103, and liked the concept but was not too found of the idea of having a 12.25″ antenna on the top of your car, then this antenna I will discuss is a nice alternative. This antenna, like the Wilson 301103, mounts on to the top of your car or a plate of sheet metal (this one requires a diameter of at least 3.5″) using a rare earth magnet. This magnet is very strong so it will not be able to fall off your car, while being fairly easy to move between your vehicles, home and office. Also, it uses an FME female connection. And included is a 10′ coaxial cable. Unlike the Wilson 301103 however, this antenna is 4.18″ tall instead of 12.25″. While being shorter, it is powerful (obviously not as powerful as the 12.25″ antenna but still powerful enough for a significant boost in signal, especially when used in conjunction with an amplifier. You can look through my previous posts at this cell phone accessories blog to see previous posts concerning amplifiers, you will see a lot of them do connect to FME through the posted specifications, in fact, you will also see few which have kits that include this antenna). This antenna is compatible with almost every phone, there is a list of phones it is compatible with on the page for the Wilson 301113. Go ahead and take a look.
