Please read the first paragraph on my blog discussing the Wilson 301101 in order to learn more about the uses of an antenna. Similar to the Wilson 301101, this antenna is also North American dual band of 800MHz and 1900MHz, as well as also capable of working to boost the signal for the iDEN network. This antenna is 15″ tall and mounts to glass using a 3M adhesive. Once mounted, this antenna is very hard to remove, making it permanent. This antenna must be mounted on the top of the front or rear window of your vehicle (it is not recommended for RVs as too much metal above the antenna could interfere with the signal gain, nor is it recommended for the rear window of trucks/SUVs for the same reason), try to avoid defogger lines as best as you can, and do not place on metallic aftermarket tint (note that most window tint is nonmetallic making this a non-factor for most vehicles). If you want to install this antenna on a home or office, please ensure that it is not on a dual pane glass. Included is a coupling box which must be installed on the inside of the glass where the antenna is located. This antenna also uses a female FME connector and included is a 14′ coaxial cable.
